I remember it well. Super Mario 64. I was amazed at it all. And then I took it out and played ISS98, the best football game of all time.

Gee.. uhm, I am pretty sure it is one of the 3 first generation pokemon games. Most likely Blue since Blue was mines, Red was from my bro, and we shared Yellow xD

Don't know why we have all 3 of them.. oh well pokemon was really awesome.

It might be a mario game though one for the gameboy atleast..

hmm I don't remember if it's the first game i ever played but it was the first thing that introduced me to gaming. It was pokemon ruby on the gba(wow i feel so young now lol.)

I always saw the pokemon games on kids gameboys but they were usually R/B/Y or G/S/C and I always wanted to get my own game as well as a gameboy. I got that one day as an early birthday present during my 2nd grade year. I got a gameboy advance sp which seemed to be a HUGE thing at the time since a lot of kids had a normal GBA or a GBC. I got pokemon ruby with it and I never heard of the game before and when i first played it and saw a poochyenna my reaction was "WTF is that thing?!" Well not exactly like that, but I was used to seeing the 251 pokes at the time so it all was brand new to me and had my own interesting experience.

Ah good times with pokemon ruby. I even still have it today... until my sisters ex boyfriends legal sister DESTROYED my game. It was like someone took a ballpoint ping or something and just scratched the hell out of the game on the inside. I assumed it was "legal sister" because she always got jealous of my sisters exboyfriend and at the time, he was playing my ruby at the time and took it to his house one night. he then woke up to find the game destroyed.

Sorry for the long message, but can't think of my first experience without feeling anger inside. The root that introduced me to the world of video games, the one that started my gaming journey, the one game that created a new and huge part of me, that starting point... DESTROYED!

Yeah, looking at most of the other first games, I do feel pretty old. Pokemon red and blue didn't come out until I was about 8.
