I hope this is in the right place, anyways i've gotten myself familiar with TLP and followed CrypticGirl's / on youtube ToLGirl's Video tutorial and get stuck at the part when i import my bitmap back in and i start the rom up and the screen goes all glitchy and little colorful squares are covering the screen anyone know what im doing wrong?
P.S I did type in the color's before hand.

Hmm... This seems like a job on bad lining. It could be that your mug was not put in the right byte to start with. Offsets ending with 0, 4, 8, C.
A screenshot of your problem would help, though. I am only guessing here based on a problem I had once...and even then, it wasn't this big as the one you had, based on your description... ...well, maybe it was. XD
And I agree with you in part. I find this method cleaner than some new ones like FEditor, as well as less error prone. My personal method is a mix of both of them honestly.

Ryru, I just read what you said, and I found it quite confusing. No offense or anything. Just saying...
If you're new to hacking, use FEditor. It sounds like you are new, but I don't want to insult you by making a possibly false assumption. Right, well, if you really want to do it the way you are now, then get screenshots of what you did, and even upload a patch of your ROM and the graphic you are trying to insert and whatnot. The more information the better.

I took people's advice and moved on to FEditor with success i'm doing fairly well now and now i have yet another issue
When I imported Lyn's battle sprite from a FE7 rom and put it inside my FE8 rom i'm making it worked, but i'm wondering how do I recolor it?
EDIT: I'd prefer a non-hex way to do it if possible
EDIT: Nevermind I found a way i just editted them in paint after DUMPing them and imported them back in and it worked ^^
