After I mod shadow dragon, the emulator will not play the game at all. What should I do?? It gives a different error every time. Just applying the changes does not actually affect the game. Saving them however seems to corrupt the rom file. Any suggestions or ways to fix it? I am willing to try pretty much anything.

If you're using the Nightmare modules are you sure you're extracting and inserting the files properly, making sure to decompress/compress them properly as well? FE11 hacking can be a bit difficult there since every time you make a change, you need to do all that and recompile the ROM and then reload the ROM

How do i recompile the file? I am not very familiar with this sort of stuff. I've never had to do this for a game.

Yeah, FE11 hacking is difficult. Honestly I can't help you too much/no one really does it but there should be instructions in the Shadow Dragon modules package on how to take the 'database' file where you edit the stats etc., compress it using Nintenlord's Compressor or Puyo Tools or something, and then insert it back into the ROM with DSLazy, after which you can load it with Desmume.
As you can tell it's a bit of a long process which is a lot of why no one hacks FE11, haha

I see, thank you for letting me know. I kinda curved my decision on hacking it now. I'll use cheat codes I guess.

Okay, now I have another question. Is there any modules for Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance? I tried the wii modules and it didn't do anything.
