New Hasha no Tsurugi Scanlations! - Blazer

A group calling themselves the_end are scanlating Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi. In other words, there is a new group working on a translation for the manga and now is a good time to read it. I will also be updating the manga section with the new upcoming manga as well as the Japanese version of Hasha no Ken soon. Fire Emblem DS is Out in Japan! - Blazer

As many of you already know, Fire Emblem 11: Shin Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi has been released in Japan. I've already been playing it for a few days and must say it's very good. Right now I am working on obtaining information like class growths and base stats, so just hold on for the FEDS page to be updated. Fire Emblem DS Info-- Almost Time! - Blazer

Updated the Fire Emblem DS section with Game Modes, Gaiden Chapter, and Terrain bonuses info, as well as a walkthrough for the rather long prologue and chapter 1 (will be updated often). The game will come out in Japan in two days guys! EDIT: Updated the Walkthrough with more chapters, added a class guide, and character base stats. New Staff! - Soren Sonata, Shu

Please welcome the new staff members Soren and Shu! Soren will manage the fanmedia section, finding fanart and fanfiction to add to the area. She is very skilled and experienced in this area. In addition to her site work, she has been promoted to a global moderator on the forums and will aide in the absense of Tino, a new forum administrator. Shu is FES's official graphic artist, a nearly professional and veteran GFX Artist. His work will include both site and forum graphics that will make navigating this site much more pleasant. Affiliate & General Update - Blazer

We reached the 100 registered members mark and have reached the 4,000 posts mark. I had some affiliates added-- Fire Emblem Radiance and Fire Emblem Kesshi, two Fire Emblem fanforums. We also have a new mainsite affiliate, the Official Super Mario Bros. Z Flash Website. For those of you who aren't aware, SMBZ is an awesome flash by Alvin-Earthworm and can be found at our new affiliate, the official site, ran by FaltzerMaster. I added a custom 404 page and did some small site fixes. There was a problem with the FTP server for a bit, but it's resolved now. Anime Revamp, New Affiliate & Community Features - Blazer

I revamped the Anime section completely and it probably won't be updated except for possible screenshots, reviews, and direct-video downloads (instead of torrents). I personally think it looks pretty nice, so check that out. I updated almost every other page too, generally making things look cleaner and neater; but that's my job as a webmaster, you know? We have another new affiliate, Fire Emblem Universe, an active forum with lots of members and discussion. A great place to be, really. I myself am a long time veteran there. Lastly, I updated the navigation menu, renaming the names of the games, as well as renaming the multimedia section, and adding a separate section for Community Features, including the forums, Ragnarok Tournament RP, an extremely serious and fun roleplay where characters battle out in the ultimate test; and with a real prize on the line too, and Cerdyn of Darkness RP, a new RP introduced by our own staff and RP leader Memento Mori-- but now's your chance to join in and obtain a high ranking! Our forums have also reached over 2,000 posts in less than a month, over 40 members, and still growing extremely fast. I'm going to continue to update-- next thing up will be the music and sheet music section, so watch out for this summer, while I go wild with updates! Fire Emblem DS Japan Release Date! - Blazer

Fire Emblem DS, the remake of Fire Emblem 1: The Dragon of Darkness and Sword of Light has an official release date of August 7th, 2008 in Japan. From this we can speculate that the game will arrive in the U.S. around November or December, or possibly an early 2009 release. FE M.U.G.E.N. and FanMedia - Blazer

I completed the Fire Emblem M.U.G.E.N. page and the FanMedia page. If you want to submit content to the fanmedia section, please contact me or post on the forums. You will have your own page for your content on the website and credit will be given for your work. FEM is a great project that I definitely recommend for you to go ahead and try out-- however, the website is currently under construction. I'll update here whenever it's ready for viewing. Three New Affiliates - Blazer

Well, I'm glad to say that after going to http://www.mcleodgaming.com and affiliating with them, it seems my hits have gone up... Oh, yes, that's a new affiliate I have, and the site is made by the man who created Super Smash Flash. It also has a demo of Super Smash Flash 2, and I definitely recommend you to go there-- the game is going to be absolutely mind-blowing. I also made that affiliate form, if you remember that huge update I made. Well, two people gladly signed up, and I just as gladly accepted. Graphics Help! - Blazer

Hello! As the title of this post may suggest, I'm in some desperate need of some help with graphics. Besides needing a banner, I need some graphics for the forums to make it look a lot better. I'll be slowly adding things to this post that I need some help with. The reason why I need help is that I lack major graphic utilities, have little experience with these types of graphics, don't have all the time necessary, and don't have the creativity. There's a lot more information in this post including what you get if you help me. You could also aid me by becoming staff, and thus would have to make more than 1-2 submissions, and occasionally (once every couple of months) aid me by creating this or that graphics to improve the site. New Forums & New Site - Blazer

I have been working hours on the site to improve it a lot. One major thing is the advancement of our forums and staff-- there's a lot of staff coming in and I've gotten my own forums that you can find and join here. Here's some of what I've done in this update. - New forum with new people and already some activity. - Changed location of Affiliates, changed navigation bar menu, and new names for the game pages. - Fixed and updated CSS a lot to make the general site better. - "Image Gallery" page added to navigation bar, so far incomplete. - Added Fire Emblem 10 Walkthrough/FAQ by GSNinja. - Took out some trashy guides that weren't very good. - Added an affiliate form. - Added a broken link form. - New home page updating system. - Made the Informations and Guides part of game pages more professional. - Added a statcounter to measure stats. - Topsite ranking increased to #2, w00t! - A new forum affiliate. - Lots of staff applications, am currently seeing which ones are the best. - Updated most pages and their content in general, making them look better, decreasing font size, etc. I'll see you around, and coming up soon is an advancement of content and the multimedia pages, so stick around for that. Update- I've been revamping this main page, as you know. I'm doing my best to make it look more professional, organized, etc., especially with the help of some new staff that I've just been too busy to name and update to the Members page. Well, I'm going to work on my webmaster skills to give this updating system a new look, and after that I'll be slowly but surely updating all the other pages to look as good as the home page. Give me some time and hopefully you won't be let down.

NOTICE- Expect some site construction and changes around here. Besides obtaining forums and constantly working on them, I've been tempted to get some new servers. I'm discussing it with some others, but if the site is down, please ignore it. Thanks.

Update- I have added some custom meta tags for search engines and added a little favicon, which looks a little crappy but oh well. More to come soon.

EDIT: I have just done a few things to the main page to, IMO, make it better. If you have a hard time reading the smaller text, hit ctrl and the + or - key (if on a Macintosh, try using command and + or - if 'control' key doesn't work.)

Update- Officially added the affiliate Fire Emblem Online to the affiliates, thank you to FEO. I've added some stats thing to the site (it's invisible) so I can better track hits and the such, which doesn't help you but helps me, and I plan on revamping the following pages.

- Music (...it's not even done yet)
- Anime - including Anime Download, I plan on transferring it from my VHS since I own the anime.
- Manga - manga downloads will be better-looking, multiple mirrors/hosts, and more manga in general.
- Possibly a manga viewer and places to buy manga and doujinshi.
- Videos - Links to watch it and downloads; I planned on having a personal channel for things like this, except the last one had ugly ads so...

And eventually I'll get the other media pages done, they're just FILLED with so much content that I can't seem to find enough time to get it all up for you guys. Maybe if you motivate me and I stopped having all these exams...

I added a good amount of media on the Smash Bros. Shrine, mainly links to music videos but I decided it was worth updating on. Update- Nothing much. FEUniverse, our forums (despite having a different name) is going under some work, and they've finally added us to their links. It's a weird thng, having forums with a different name than the mainsite; we're doing something about it, believe me...

In other news, Fire Emblem Mugen, a 2D Fire Emblem fighting game exclusive to the Fire Emblem Shrine, is being remade/reborn and the such. If you want to help, join the forums and look for it. That's all for today~
